The Houses

The houses are the “Where” in astrology. Each of the 12 houses in your birth chart rules different areas of your life and even says something about the people related to those houses. Each house has a “Natural ruler” and then the sign that rules a house in your chart specifically. It helps to associate each house with its “Natural” ruler when trying to understand what it represents. The house any given planet resides in will tell you where that planet is mostly expressed and adds an extra layer of energy to help you understand the planet. Meet The Chakras

Chakras are something that I’m sure 80% of the population has heard about, but I bet a far smaller percentage know and understand what they are and their purpose. The Chakras are energy centers in our bodies. There are 7 main chakras and countless smaller ones. When working with them they are seen as different colored spinning balls of energy in specific places on the body. Each one influences different parts of the physical body, mind, emotions, and our spirituality. We’re so rooted in the physical world that we forget we are, in essence, energy. Any unbalanced energy in the chakras can result in physical illness over time, not to mention living an unbalanced life. Below is a simple and very helpful introduction to the chakras.

Listening To The Voice In Your Heart

Most of the exercises you will read about in this blog I received from my guides when channeling. For those of you who don’t know, channeling is when a person gets information from a source other than themselves. Some of the energies you can channel are your spirit guides, angels, universal energies, your higher self, the divine, and if you’re a Medium you can channel the spirits of people who have passed away. When I first began channeling I was going through an extremely difficult transition in my life. I had recently graduated college and moved home, trading the beautiful city of Manhattan for my own personal prison in suburbia. Like so many other college kids I was also utterly unemployed as well and had no idea where my life was going. In the midst of all this, I was faced with the gut wrenching realization that the on and off relationship I was so invested in for the last 3 ½ years was finally ending.
